Here you will find a simple listing of spray application information and application rate tables for some common sprayer configurations. It is a place to get basic spray equations, calculations, and other information when handbooks and catalogs for spray tips and nozzles are not readily at hand.
GPM = (MPH x GPA x W) / (5940 x N)
GPA = (5940 x GPM x N) / (MPH x W)
MPH = ft / (min x 88)
MPH = (ft x 3600) / (sec x 5280) = 0.6818 x ft / sec
Where:
GPM is US Gallons per Minute
GPA is US Gallons per Acre
MPH is Miles per Hour
W is the spray width of band; or tip spacing on broadcast boom (inches)
N is the number of tips per band; "1" for broadcast booms
